At The Hun’s we always keep an eye out on weird things that are adult related. We came across such an extraordinary thing in The British Museum in London. There they have some flying penis amulets on display. They have amulets you can wear and the one in the image here is believed to be a wind-chime, it’s hung (pun intended) with small bells, decorated with wings, and has a penis for a tail. Intrigued by this there’s one simple question: why?
In the ‘olden days’ things where different from now. People used amulets and such for all kinds of reasons. This particular one was used by the Romans to provide magical protection against evil and to bring good luck to the household. Okay… A house full of flying penises… I don’t think you can do that anymore these days. Read more on the winged lion-phallus and other flying penises on this WikiPedia page.
